My visit was intended only to get my regular monthly maintenance medicine for my high blood pressure. Based on my latest laboratory tests, it showed that my cholesterol level was low, uric acid value was low, blood sugar was perfect and my triglyceride level was a little bit high. But what my Cardiologist concerns much was his monitoring of my weight loss. For the past five or six months, my weight was fairly in between 96 and 97 kilograms. My desired weight according to my height and age should at least be 80 kilograms. Wow 80 Kgs!

Previously my Cardiologist challenged me to meet the desired weight and try to reduce at least a kilogram per month, which means 2.2 pounds per month. This did not materialized earlier because my supposed to be walking exercise using our thread mill at home was seldom done.

From watching the Biggest Loser show on TV, I have known that to loss a pound, we need to burn at least 2,400 calories. This means that by my walking exercise on the thread mill for 30 minutes that burns about 200 calories, I need to spend 12 days to loss a pound. So, if I have to exercise daily for 30 minutes, about a kilo weight loss in a month is very much possible based on my mathematical computation.

Yesterday I have received an email coming from a brother from a far place in the kingdom. In his mail he is asking for a favor for me and my wife to visit them again at their place and conduct a marriage enrichment retreat for their members. This is part of formation program for couple members of the community to strengthen their married and family life, which forms the foundation for their life together as married couples, and to foster a better understanding of God’s plan for marriage and family life, and to get the couple-participants to commit themselves to living out God’s plan.

We have been to that place before on a mission and it was a wonderful experience meeting other members of the community and serving them thru giving of formation program talks and learning on how they spend their community activities and sharing with them their way of life.

Again we were being requested to make a visit again; since we had promised them that we will be back and I know that this is God’s calling for us to go on mission again.

I guess when I have initiated updates, these features were lost or might be combined to other features. So I need to check and carefully review what had happened. Or maybe I need to frequently visit and update my blog so I’ll be aware of such changes. If not, I might totally forget what I had previously done and added.

Now that I’m back to blogging again, surely I’ll be more aware of changes and updates to come.

Recently my wife had created her first ever blog site and she had started writing various topics on any subject that comes to her mind. Her blog site contains topics about daily life, encounters with friends, travels and at times wherein she’s out of topic, then about me was her favorite subject.

Now she has accomplished the required number of write-ups to qualify her site for advertisers to mention and talk about their website products and services. This in return makes her, the blogger receive payment per task/blog entry, for writing and mentioning in her website.

I guess I’ll try to revive my website and try to compose some articles so I could join her in her latest blogging career and earn something out of blogging. To other bloggers out there, please count me in!

Teka, may sumagot pa! “Ako din kabayan”.

Aba at mukhang marami pala sila at iisa ang problema. Teka teka … hmmmm …. meron amoy malansa, di kaya may naamoy akong di tama.

I just need to find time for me to compose some write-ups and post them while I am login to Facebook meeting new friends and reading various posts and comments. Likewise, I might consider my sister-in-law, Jenny’s suggestion that I have to rejuvenate my blog to earn some few bucks posting links from various advertisers. I think that would be okay and make sense. So here I am back again and see you more on my next posts. Bye for now!
